Blogging - Emerging branding tool??




Building brand is no more restricted to a company or an organization. Today every individual wants to create his own brand that can reflect the success of his personal and professional life. In this competitive world, where every individual is a threat to other, building your own brand helps you in qualifying as a better individual.

Now the question arises as “How to build your own brand”. No doubt, building the brand of a company or an organization is a tough job and Public Relation professionals knows this very well, however building your own brand is also not an easy one. The growing popularity of social networking websites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Orkut, Google+, and Twitter has helped the individual in creating his own image and profile in a particular community. Whether it’s a personal profiling or professional, these networking websites helps you to grow as a brand and build your own image in the way you want.

Well, we all know the difference that these websites has created in our life, but there are few people who are a step ahead than many. Yes, these people are bloggers, who share their experience, knowledge and understanding to the whole world. Their objective and connections are not limited to a particular community.
Whether blog are a social media tool or a marketing strategy? Well categorizing the blog in a particular category won’t be correct. Different people have different views. Hence I leave it on your discretion to consider blogging in either category. However if we look at the bigger picture of blogging industry and the objective of the bloggers, it will certainly be a combination of both tools be it social media or a marketing strategy.

Blogging can be informative or a tool to share your experience with a large group of individual. Whatever is the objective of blogging and bloggers, one common thing always come up i.e. create your own brand among a large audience. Blogging has emerged as the most successful online marketing tool to create a positive and influencing image among the target market. Not only companies but there are many individuals who have created their own blog to popularizes their brand and build a positive image in the market.
